Twilight dream

It was a long slowly darkening road

That took me there, where I lost my way

It had curves and cuts, slop and knots

I walked along all the way.

It was a lonely lonely road

My breath echoed and lingered its stay

My hands and feet and lantern lit

Toiled with me along the way

A gentle push and a slight call

Woke me up and that was all
